At the heart of The Way of Love is an invitation to explore sacred wisdom through contemplation, inquiry, and embodiment—not simply seeking to understand the teachings we encounter, but allowing them to illuminate how we live, how we love, and how we experience the Divine within ourselves and one another.

Through contemplation, we create space for stillness, listening, and reflection. Through inquiry, we bring our questions, experiences, and discernment into conversation with what we encounter. And through embodiment, we begin to integrate what has become illuminated within us into the way we live.

The teachings of Yeshua, and the wisdom shared through Mary Magdalene in the Gospel of Mary, invite us to consider the soul's journey toward liberation and the inner transformation that may unfold as we awaken to a deeper understanding of ourselves.

What might we discover when we begin to recognize the fears, attachments, beliefs, and patterns that obscure our inner sight and separate us from our truest nature?

And how might this awareness help us reorient our hearts toward the Way of Love?

This is why we gather: to create a sacred space where wisdom is not simply studied, but contemplated, questioned, recognized, and gradually embodied.

What if the sacred work before us is not to build another temple of stone, but to tend the temple of our own hearts?

The Temple of the Heart

Why We Gather

For remembrance is not simply about recovering what has been forgotten. It is about allowing what we remember to become embodied in the way we live.

Our Books Become Doorways
Together, We Enter the Inquiry

Some books give us information. Others invite us into something deeper.

The Way of Love is a contemplative reading circle where sacred texts and wisdom traditions become doorways into reflection, remembrance, and shared discovery.

We do not gather simply to finish a book or arrive at the “right” interpretation. We gather to live with the questions, listen for what resonates, and consider how the wisdom we encounter might become part of how we live.

Through reading, contemplation, and sacred witnessing, we enter the inquiry together.

Our First Journey

Mary Magdalene Revealed by Meggan Watterson

At the heart of Mary Magdalene Revealed is an ancient and incomplete text known as the Gospel of Mary. Rediscovered in a Coptic manuscript in Cairo in the late nineteenth century, this gospel offers a remarkable glimpse into teachings attributed to Yeshua and shared by Mary Magdalene with the other disciples.

Within its surviving pages, we encounter a vision of the soul's journey toward liberation, spiritual understanding, and inner freedom.

In Mary Magdalene Revealed, theologian Meggan Watterson brings this ancient text into conversation with her own interpretation, scholarship, and lived experience, inviting us to consider its relevance to our lives today.

Her interpretation becomes our starting point—not our final answer.

Together, we will read slowly, making room for our own questions, experiences, and understanding as we explore what Mary's gospel might illuminate within us.

Come with your book, your journal, and your curiosity.

Gathering in Circle

As we enter the quieter season of the year, we are invited to create space for contemplation. And while the journey inward is deeply personal, we need not walk it alone.

We will gather for nine 90-minute sessions in a small, intimate circle of no more than 12 participants.

Our first gathering will be an Opening Circle—a time to arrive, meet one another, establish our shared intentions and circle agreements, and explore what has drawn each of us to The Way of Love.

From there, our gatherings will weave together contemplative questions, shared reflection, sacred witnessing, moments of stillness, and integration.

Meet Your Facilitator

Lentice Sanders, founder and facilitator of The Way of Love, smiling outdoors in a white headscarf.

I'm Lentice.

Much of my spiritual journey has unfolded through contemplation, exploring sacred texts and wisdom traditions, and allowing what I encounter to speak into my lived experience.

Central to that journey has been my deepening connection with Mary Magdalene and the teachings of Yeshua, particularly the invitation to embody love as a way of being. Through contemplation of their teachings and lived experiences, I've come to appreciate that wisdom is not simply something we seek to understand, but something we are invited to live.

Along the way, I've discovered that some of my deepest insights have emerged not from searching for answers, but from slowing down, listening, questioning, and creating space for what is being awakened within me.

The Way of Love grew from that experience.

I created this circle from a desire to share that sacred space of inquiry with others. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe there is something meaningful about bringing our questions, experiences, and perspectives together.

My role is to hold the container—to nurture reflection, meaningful conversation, and a welcoming space where different perspectives can be honored as we explore how ancient wisdom might illuminate the way we live and love.

I look forward to welcoming you into the circle. 🌹

If you feel drawn to slow down, enter the questions, and explore what this journey might awaken within you, I would love to welcome you into The Way of Love.

Come as you are—with your questions, your curiosity, and a willingness to listen.

Perhaps your place is among us. 🌹

Perhaps this is your invitation.
